HGV Class 1 Drivers Temp

Driver Hire Huddersfield is currently looking for Category C+E - Class 1 HGV Drivers to join us working alongside prestigious clients based throughout the Kirklees areas of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Holmfirth and Meltham. These roles are for temporary and ad-hoc bookings assisting clients covering holiday and sickness and increase in business demands. Most clients are looking for a minimum 1 year's worth of experience on this entitlement.

Role

• Trunking work, curtainsiders, flatbeds and tail lift experience
• Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off
• Ensure that the vehicle and its cargo get to their destination safely.
• Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
• Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.
