Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional HGV 2 Driver to work with our client based in Leicester. This is an ongoing role leading to a permanent opportunity for the right driver.

The Role

You'll be doing 8-10 deliveries per day, delivering boxed meat to butchers and pubs across Leicester.

Your responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to pubs and butchers
• Driving the class 2 curtainside trailer safely
• Handling all meat deliveries, either hanging or in boxes
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards as this is a customer facing role

Requirements

• Valid HGV 2 licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Strapping and Reversing competence
• New pass HGV 2 Drivers welcome – training and support provided
