Hepatology Scientist

Job Description
One of our large pharmaceutical clients is actively hiring a Hepatology Scientist to join their R&D Team. Primary goal of this project is to develop robust and reproducible human primary cell-derived complex in vitro model for steatotic liver disease demonstrating the fibrotic and inflammatory response to steatotic liver disease stimuli.

We are seeking a PhD‑level scientist to support experimental research within the Hepatology team, with a primary focus on macrophage biology and co‑culture model development. The successful candidate will design and execute laboratory experiments to progress a macrophage–fibroblast co‑culture system, contributing to ongoing liver fibrosis modeling initiatives.
This role involves hands‑on laboratory work, experimental design, data analysis, and close collaboration with internal scientific stakeholders.
