**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

Responsible to provide assistance in hemodialysis therapy for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, and to provide technical support for equipment.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Three (3) months job related experience required.
+ Must obtain Hemodialysis Technician certification under a State certification program, or a national commercially available certification program, within 18 months of employment, according to the certification requirements of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services End Stage Renal Disease Conditions for Coverage.
