They are responsible for preparing, monitoring, and ensuring the safety of patients during dialysis sessions while maintaining a compassionate, empathetic approach to care. Hemodialysis nurses must have specialized knowledge of renal diseases, dialysis procedures, and the use of dialysis equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition, medical history, and current health status before each dialysis session.
