Hematology/Oncology provides care for veterans with a variety of benign and malignant conditions, participates in clinical, translational and basic research, serves as a hub for training of fellows, residents and students. An outpatient infusion unit and a dedicated pharmacist ensure efficient and safe delivery of biologics, chemotherapies, transfusions and other therapies as needed. Hematology/Oncology clinics work closely with palliative care and a dedicated social worker, as well as advanced practice providers.

  • The Hem/Onc physician's actual clinical activity shall be a function of the VAMC Executive Committee of the Medical Staff clinical privileging process and the overall demand for emergency services.
