Job Description

SMS Equipment is growing in Elkford, BC. We're hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician, Journeyperson to support mining and construction operations in a remote field environment. If you’re a skilled troubleshooter with a safety-first mindset and the ability to work independently, we want to hear from you.
Base Wage: $52.31 per hour. Additional premiums apply.
Location: Elkford, BC. Housing is available.
Schedule: 7x7

What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems on heavy mining and construction equipment

Perform overhauls, maintenance, and new equipment builds

Troubleshoot issues using computerized and manual diagnostic tools

Work independently in remote field settings, including adverse weather and confined spaces

Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in safe work practices
