Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to rebuild major components for mechanical drive mining trucks from brands like CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi etc. The components include but are not limited to rear wheel groups, front corner groups, brake assembles and differentials.

Heavy Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment and machinery through diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance. This hands‑on role is integral to minimizing downtime and supporting smooth operational workflows within engineering-focused organizations.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Work as a team to tear down and rebuild large and small components and assemblies
• Clean and prep parts for inspection
• Move components by operating overhead cranes, jib hoists and pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
