Heavy Equipment Operator- Traveling

Position Summary
The traveling Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a variety of mobile heavy equipment used in mining operations. Equipment may include haul trucks, loaders, excavators, water trucks, dozers, graders, and other production support machinery. Operators play a critical role in maintaining production goals while adhering to strict safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

+ Operate heavy mobile equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner

+ Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and complete required documentation

+ Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions promptly

+ Follow mine site safety procedures, policies, and MSHA regulations at all times

+ Work closely with supervisors, dispatch, and other team members to meet daily production targets

+ Maintain clean and orderly equipment cabs and work areas
