Heavy Equipment Operator

We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious **Equipment Operators** to join the team at **Post Oak Landfill in Luling, TX** . Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge _plus_ , but willing to train the right candidate.

_The position is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday start time 6am-5:30pm with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week._

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed
+ Spreading and compacting trash using a Compactor
+ Spreading daily cover using a Dozer
+ Excavating soil using an Excavator
+ Hauling soil

**MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

+ Experience driving forklift, dozer, or articulated dump truck _preferred_
+ Must demonstrate ability to learn and independently operate equipment used at facility
+ Must become proficient in the care and use of all site specific, facility required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
