🚜 **Now Hiring: Equipment Operators – Heart of Florida Landfill**
📍 **Lake Panasoffkee, FL**
We are currently seeking **experienced, safety‑conscious Equipment Operators** to join our team at **Heart of Florida Landfill** . Prior landfill or waste experience is a **big plus** , but we’re willing to **train the right candidate** who brings a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
✅ **Schedule:** 5am-4:30pm and 7am-6:30pm | Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
✅ **Hours:** 45–55 hours per week
✅ **Pay:** **$24–$26+ per hour DOE**
**🔧 Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform general maintenance around the site and facility
+ Spread and compact trash using a **Compactor**
+ Apply daily cover using a **Dozer**
+ Excavate soil with an **Excavator**
+ Haul soil as needed
**🌤 Working Conditions**
+ Outdoor landfill environment
+ Work near moving mechanical parts
+ Exposure to wet/humid conditions...
