Heavy Duty Mechanic

Overview

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an experienced Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The role is primarily shop-based but will require attending site calls and participating in the on-call rotation from time to time. The fleet varies by location and may include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment.
• Service equipment safely and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Attend site calls and participate in the on-call rotation as required.

Education or Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
