NHR Group is crrently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic Foreman to join our Christchurch operation. This role is ideal for a skilled technicioan with proven leadership ability who is looking to take responsibility for workshop performance, team leadership, and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of heavy diesel mechanics
• Plan and prioritise workshop workflow to meet operational deadlines
• Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of heavy vehicles across multiple manufacturers
• Ensure all work complies with NZ health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Monitor job progress, quality control, and efficiency
• Manage preventative maintenance programmes
• Support training and development of team members
• Liaise with management regarding parts, scheduling, and resource requirements
