Job Description

Job Summary:
The purpose of the Heatset Winder Operator is to operate, thread & supply the Superba, Suessen, or Ornek Heat Setting Tunnel/ Winder & Accumulator.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
Patrol and monitor the running of the machine.
Inspect, Label, and Stack wound packages as instructed.
Follow all Company, Safety & Quality Guidelines.
Check the Specification sheet at the beginning of each shift and verify that all specs are being followed exactly as described on the spec sheet.
Verify that each tube of yarn produced from the winder complies with the spec sheet.
Load empty tubes into Winder magazine.
Separate & Straighten the yarn bundle into the thread path from the Accumulator to the Winder.
Use Air Splice to join any broken ends.
If the Splicer doesn’t reach, tie a weaver knot with ¼ - ½” tail.
