Aspire People is recruiting healthcare teaching assistants to support students in a special needs school in Grimsby. The school serves KS1–KS4 students and seeks assistants with experience in the care sector who wish to apply their skills in an educational setting.

Requirements

• Experience working in the care sector
• Interest in applying healthcare skills within an educational setting
• Background in education or support work acceptable
• Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including Disclosure and Barring Checks

Responsibilities

• Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 15:30
• Support one‑to‑one student development
• Collaborate with other assistants and the class teacher
• Assist with social and cognitive development activities
• Participate in a supportive senior leadership team
