Healthcare Support Worker

Role Overview

As a Healthcare Support Worker within the Woodfield Health Centre, you will be a valued member of a close‑knit clinical team, providing hands‑on care and support to 800 pupils aged 11 to 18. Working under the guidance of registered nurses, you will help the day‑to‑day wellbeing of young people across the school, from the Health Centre to the boarding houses and everywhere in between.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils recovering from illness or injury.
• Assist with medicines management and medication safety.
• Contribute to infection control procedures.
• Help boarding house staff navigate health concerns with confidence.
• Build and maintain caring relationships with pupils and colleagues.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience in a healthcare or residential setting.
