Health Care Support Worker – Ward 44 (Gastroenterology & Colorectal)

Ward 44 is a 30‑bed combined unit consisting of Gastroenterology and colorectal surgical specialties.

You will be part of a well‑motivated, dynamic multi‑disciplinary team that strives to deliver the highest level of care.

Responsibilities:

• Work different shift patterns over 7 days.
• Meet physical demands, including patient manual handling.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commit to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Participate in any required training.
• Relevant recent acute inpatient experience is essential.

Requirements:

• Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.
• Relevant recent acute inpatient experience.
