HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT, OPERATION THEATRE

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Provide basic nursing care in accordance with established standards, work collaboratively with team members, and report any incidents or issues to relevant authorities to ensure the delivery of high‑quality patient care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide basic nursing care that aligns with the vision, mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of the nursing services and the hospital. Notify the nursing leaders of any situations that impact the quality of care. Obtain unit report and assignment at the beginning of each shift and perform additional tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager or Senior Registered Nurse.
2. Daily routine in Operation theatre:
   • Perform thorough cleaning each morning, including sanitising operating tables, lamps and other equipment.
   • Inspect supplies and gas cylinders to ensure their safety and guarantee a well‑stocked anaesthesia machine.
