Healthcare Assistant – Dialysis Unit

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant in our busy dialysis unit.

Key Details

Location: Llantrisant Dialysis Unit, Unit 14, Llantrisant Business Park, Pontyclun, CF72 8LF. Free parking available on site.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Saturday on a rolling rota. No Sunday or night shifts. 3 × 11.5‑hour shifts per week plus an additional top‑up shift every month.

Salary: £25,652.

Responsibilities

• Provide general assistance to nursing staff with patient care in the treatment room.
• Liaise with transport and other departments to arrange appointments.
• Support the unit routine by escorting patients to the wards, handling blood specimen and pharmacy errands.
• Monitor and record patients’ weights pre and post dialysis.
