**Job Title:** Health Unit Coordinator (Unit Clerk)

**Employment Type:** Full-Time / 36 hours weekly

**Shift:** Day Shift; 7am-7pm

**Location:** Silver Spring, Maryland

**Position Purpose** **:**

Supports departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe, orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, performing clerical and other support services as directed, and providing assistance in select and limited clinical activities.

**Responsibilities** **:**

+ Gives and receives report on assigned shift to oncoming HUC (as applicable) or Charge Nurse, remains at nurse’s station during change of shift to answer telephones and call lights
+ Greets and offers assistance promptly to all persons entering the unit.
