Summary About the Position: This position is located at Kaiserslautern Middle School, Germany is part of the Kaiserslautern Community Schools in the DoWEA Europe Central District. The purpose of this position is to assist in provision of continuing health care programs. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Salary is based on a full time work schedule, this position is Part-Time/Seasonal, 65 hours per pay period Responsibilities Administer routine and emergency first aid to students. Washing wounds, applying compresses and dressing, control of bleeding, administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and following first aid procedures. Dispense predetermined dosages of prescription medicine. Checking Temperatures and visual appearance to determine if students require medical attention, need to rest, or be sent home from school.
