Summary This position, located at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, Office of the Assistant Director, serves as a Health System Specialist, responsible for the review, planning, and coordination of the delivery of health care programs throughout the facility. Responsibilities Major duty include but are not limited to: Responsibility for the study, analysis, evaluation, and formulation of recommendations for the development and improvement of administrative management and operating programs for the assigned organizations/departments. Knowledge to identify and participate in resolving the full range of management problems and assists in the development of proposed management programs on a service, inter-service medical center or VISN-wide basis. Knowledge to provide back-up support as directed for Executive Assistant staff in the Executive Office due to vacancies to minimize disruption to executive office operations.
