Health & Safety Officer

• A Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Valid SAMTRAC or NOSA certification (advantageous).

• 45 years hands-on experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in both Forestry and Mining environments.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in high-risk, remote, or environmentally sensitive work sites.
• Proven experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and implementing corrective actions.

• Excellent knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and other relevant South African HSE legislation.
• Ability to compile and implement Health and Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
• Strong communication and training skills to conduct toolbox talks and safety...
