Job Summary
This Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) oversees a comprehensive safety program at the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia. The program includes environmental, , hazardous waste, EPCRA, RCRA, air permit compliance, spill response, etc., fire protection and prevention, industrial hygiene, occupational health, and worker safety aspects for the Base Operations & Support (BOS) contractor at the Mark Center. The SSHO works in close partnership with all operational areas to ensure a safe facility where the BOS services delivered comply with contract requirements as well as local, state, and federal regulations regarding health, safety, and environmental matters.
