Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

Job summary

Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist is responsible for driving a strong safety culture and ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our Alpine Facility (Pemberton, BC). This role acts as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to facility leadership, providing hands-on support, and strategic guidance on a wide range of HSE matters. The HSE Specialist plays a lead role in identifying and assessing potential workplace hazards, investigating incidents, and implementing effective corrective actions to reduce risk. The HSE Specialist will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful safety initiatives from new hire HSE training, to incident investigation, and Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) support.
