Health Care Assistant

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join the friendly and supportive clinical team at Rothwell & Desborough Healthcare Group. The post holder will support delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care as part of the multidisciplinary team, working across both Rothwell Medical Centre and Desborough Surgery.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical procedures including phlebotomy, venepuncture, ECGs, wound care, injections (e.g. B12) and other basic diagnostic procedures.
• Support long‑term condition (LTC) monitoring and basic reviews such as blood pressure and lifestyle assessments.
• Carry out NHS Health Checks and promote health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Perform routine observations including blood pressure monitoring, urinalysis and other observations.
• Support national and local vaccination programmes, including flu campaigns.
