The Health Care Aide functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team by providing safe, patient-focused health care services for patients on Family Medicine Units at the Leduc Community Hospital. The incumbent participates in the delivery of quality care by performing services necessary for the physical, emotional well-being and comfort of the patient. The Health Care Aide will be able to work up to full scope of practice. Duties include but are not limited to assisting patients with activities of daily living, personal care, heavy lifting and transferring and assisting with health care tasks/procedures as necessary.
