• To establish, implement, and govern the comprehensive protective security and safety framework for the RTS Link infrastructure and ICQ complex.
• Strategic Financial Governance: Managing and controlling O&M Security budget including strategic oversight and optimization of OPEX and CAPEX for safety & security related systems.
• Regulatory Compliance & High-Level Coordination: Upholding compliance with all bilateral and national safety & security regulations, (NIOSH, DOSH, DOE, Bilateral & Supplementary Agreement, Concessionaire Agreement), and coordinate effectively with all external stakeholders, including MY & SG Security Enforcement Agencies, RTSO.
• AP & CSG Unit Oversight: Establishing the MRTC Auxiliary Police unit and providing strategic direction and crisis management oversight over the unit’s deployment and operational readiness.
