Head Veterinary Receptionist

Location: Beechwood Veterinary Hospital Doncaster, 51 Bawtry Road, Doncaster, DN4 7AA

Contract: Permanent, Full‑time. Hours: 40 hours per week. Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, with a share in the weekend rota.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities:

• Managing the Receptionist team, including training and providing support and guidance
• Being the point of contact for complaints and escalations
• Line management and conducting team 1‑2‑1’s / check‑ins
• Creating and managing the team rota
• Supporting Recruitment and liaising with the internal recruitment team
• Answering phones and booking appointments
• Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
• Registering new clients
• Completing insurance forms
• Dispensing medications
• Taking payments
• Providing a warm and welcoming experience to clients arriving at the practice
