Job Description

Job Summary
 :Oversee the safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally sound operation of plant equipment. Coordinates work efforts of Plant Operators and Maintenance to ensure all procedures are performed in a safe and efficient manner, to protect the safety of personnel and equipment. Act in accordance with the NRG Conduct of Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly operate, inspect, and monitor in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner power plant equipment including:

 Gas Turbine/ Generator and its associated auxiliary equipment
Feedwater / Condensate Systems
Fuel Systems
Boiler Equipment
Water Treatment System
Continuous Emissions Monitoring System 
Understand and execute the tag out/lock out of equipment per NRG Tag Out/Lock Out procedure.
