Head of Year

• Responsiblefor the pastoral care, safeguarding and welfare of a defined group ofstudents and contribute to them making good academic progress.
• Tocontribute to the leadership and management of the Pastoral System toensure an effective student support framework is in place and workingwell.
• Tolead on the management and delivery of events and communications forparents and carers of the defined group and the defined group itself.
• Workas part of a team to assist in the strategic development of the PastoralSystem.
• To lead and manage a year group of students and tutors as they progressthrough each stage from Year 8 to Year 11. This current position will be tosupport Year 8 in September 2026.
