The post holder will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the Trust's Harm Free Care Strategy, applying advanced clinical expertise, risk stratification, and evidence-based practice to proactively identify, prevent and reduce hospital‑acquired harms. The role will ensure clinical standards and care delivery are aligned with national patient safety priorities and the Trust's Quality objectives, driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes. The Head of Nursing will act as a visible role model and ambassador for excellence in patient safety and harm reduction and have at least two days clinical with a strong site presence. This role provides leadership for the harms‑free care team members, and leads relevant equipment procurement, and relevant audits for compliance.
