Job Title: Head of Finance

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Main Duties

• Establishes and maintains the financial systems and procedures of GAPFA

• Reviews and certified financial statements for presentation to management, the Board or other stakeholders

• Coordinates the preparation of the overall budget for GAPFA

• Manages the funds of GAPFA efficiently to keep the association solvent

• Effects payment in accordance with established financial rules and regulations

• Collaborates with the internal audit unit for the maintenance of an effective system of internal control

• Liaises with external auditors for the audit of the company’s accounts and attends to matters arising out of the audit
