Head of Engineering In‑Service Electrical (Services Engineering) – Submarines

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct PWR1 & 2 Electrical Work Packages throughout the Submarines Business to support the In‑Service availability of PWR1 and PWR2 platforms.
• Manage the delivery of the Vanguard Class Manoeuvring Room Trainer and Maintenance Training Aid contract to ensure Vanguard class crew training meets the desired performance objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for In‑Service Electrical technical, programme and personnel matters in support of the UK submarine programme.
• Represent the business on technical issues with customers and other stakeholders.
• Provide top‑level programmes with electrical/technical leadership and comply with the Engineering function's policies and within the Chief Engineer’s Terms of Reference.
