Head Nurse

Head Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal Hospital, Shrewsbury

We are looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal 24‑hour hospital in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Previous experience as a Head Nurse or working as an RVN in an animal hospital in some capacity would be preferred, but not essential. The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day‑to‑day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop the practice and the team clinically with the Branch Partner. You will manage a large team of nurses and reception staff and receive dedicated support from our Practice Manager, Branch Partner and Operations Director as needed.

You will be working 40 hours per week with the standard 1 in 6 weekend shifts as well as a fair share of bank holiday and on‑call duties.
