About the role

The Summer Lounge is a high-volume restaurant & lounge in Nairobi and is currently restructuring its kitchen leadership. We are seeking an experienced
Head Chef
to take full ownership of kitchen operations, food safety, training, and execution standards.

This role requires a
proven kitchen leader
. You will be responsible for building systems, training teams, and ensuring consistency across all services.

Key responsibilities

• Full oversight of all kitchen operations
• Enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Design and implement kitchen SOPs (cleaning, storage, service flow)
• Train, mentor, and evaluate all kitchen staff
