Responsibilities:
The Characterization Hardware Engineer Intern’s responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:
Analog circuitry design and verification (TECs, TIAs, Power Supplies, Amplifiers, etc.)
Digital circuitry design and verification (MCU, Memory, Transistors, etc.)
Mixed signal circuitry design, simulation and verification (ADCs, DACs)
Potential product re-spin using Cadence OrCAD, Allegro and Siemens PADS design tools
Proficiency in LAB tools (Oscilloscopes and DMMs).
Characterize of high-speed optical transceivers
Set up R&D stations, execute debugging on test stations and modules
Execute Design Verification Tests. Write technical reports
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, optical, MF...
