Maintenance Handyperson required on a 6 month contract with the potential to be extended.

Overview of the position:

Hays is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Handyperson for the Prison in Market Drayton. HMP Stoke Heath.

The rate is £ per hour inclusive of holiday pay. PAYE

Purpose of the Maintenance role:

As part of the Works Department, you will be responsible for both reactive repairs and planned and preventative maintenance. Currently, the Prison has several refurbishment and general day-to-day maintenance projects underway. As such, the prison require general handyperson who canplete general tasks such as assisting other trades, putting up signage, general basic painting and carpentry duties, using drills and hand tools and fire alarm/ emergency lighting checks.
