Job Description

The Role:
As a member of the Grounds Maintenance Unit the post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of general maintenance and horticultural duties at various locations throughout the City area, to include Golf Courses, Public Parks, Cemeteries, sports facilities, playing fields, landscaped areas and open spaces.
The post holder will assume other delegated duties appropriate to the post reasonably assigned by management.
Essential Criteria: 
Twoyears' employment experience in a horticultural and grounds maintenance environment in at least one of the following areas:Sports pitch maintenance (grass)Cemetery maintenanceGolf course maintenanceHorticultural maintenance (floral)
Demonstrate a good understanding of Grounds Maintenance
Awareness of Health & Safety issues
Be physically fit and capable of carrying out wide range of manual tasks across any Council controlled site
