**JOB SUMMARY**

The Grounds Keeper/Equipment Operator is responsible for the maintenance of properties associated with MercyOne North Iowa to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, staff and visitors. The position performs a wide variety of grounds maintenance (landscaping, street, and parking lot). Also, the position requires the knowledge and ability to operate, repair, and maintain tractors, trucks and power equipment associated to the essential job functions.

A. Reports to: Environmental Services/ Grounds Manager

B. Supervises: N/A

C. Key Working Relationships: Manager, Hospital Staff, Vendors and Contractors

D. Primary Customer Groups: All Hospital Customers, Patients and Colleagues
