Job Description

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Environment Operative to support the maintenance and upkeep of parks, open spaces, sports facilities and other sites across the area.
Location: Ferryhill 
 Working Hours: 37 hours per week 
 Pay Rate: £12.71
 Type: On-going temporary role 

 This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining community spaces, and can work flexibly, in line with seasonal demands.

 Key Responsibilities
General horticultural and grounds maintenance work, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting and pruning

Maintenance of parks, open spaces and nursery areas

Cleaning and upkeep of facilities such as changing tooms, public toilets etc.

Supporting construction and site preparation works as a labourer

Setting out and marking sports pitches and areas
