Grounds Maintenance Operative

Grounds Maintenance Operative required for a housing association working in Crewe and Nantwich for an initial 6 month period.

Role

Provide general gardening and grounds‑maintenance services across estates, ensuring high standards, safe working practices, and good customer interaction.

Key Duties

Grounds maintenance across gardens and communal areas
Customer interaction and reporting issues (repairs, fly‑tipping, graffiti, safeguarding)
Safe equipment use including PPE, COSHH and incident reporting
Vehicle checks and keeping vehicles clean and compliant
Accurate recording of work and inspectionsEssential Experience

Grounds‑maintenance experience
Knowledge of lawn, shrub and plant care
Ability to work physically and safely
Good customer‑service skills
Able to work independently and in a team
Understanding of COSHH, PPE and Health & Safety
Full driving licenceRate is paye or umbrella, 35 hrs per week.
