Grounds Maintenance Operative

We have exciting opportunities to work for local councils as a grounds maintenance operative. Pay rates start from £12.21 per hour, increasing to £18.31 for overtime hours. These roles are based in Braintree and Dunmow.

Main Duties of Grounds Maintenance Operative:

• Carry out a range of tasks as per specifications and work schedules, including grounds maintenance activities such as grass cutting, sports field maintenance, hedge cutting, shrub bed maintenance, and litter-picking.
• Complete all documentation related to the tasks performed.
• Use and maintain vehicles, plant, tools, and equipment according to manufacturer instructions, including performing maintenance checks.
• Wear the council's protective uniform and adhere to all health and safety regulations, including safe working practices and risk/COSHH assessments.

Pay:

• Before 12 weeks: £11.52/hour, OT rate: £17.28
