Grounds & Maintenance Officer

About your role:

Responsible for the upkeep, gardening & maintenance of our retirement village (village McCauley) in Townsville , you will:

• • Maintain all gardens, lawns, hedges, trees, pathways and outdoor areas to a high standard
  • Carry out regular gardening duties including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, mulching, planting and watering
  • Conduct routine inspections of gardens and trees, ensuring branches are safelyy trimmed and outdoor areas remain neat, healthy and safe
  • Assist with seasonal planting and annual replanting of garden beds to enhance the appearance of the facility
  • Ensure all outdoor spaces, walkways and common areas are free from hazards and well maintained
  • Operate and maintain gardening equipment and report any maintenance requirements
