Grounds Maintenance Laborer

**Description**

**General Summary**

Maintains the grounds of industrial, commercial, or public property. This is a part-time position, with the first 30 days scheduled as full-time for training. After training is complete, the schedule will transition to part-time hours.

**Requirements:**

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)

**Pay:**

+ $19.27/hour + $5.30 Health & Welfare (H&W)

**Schedule:**

+ **Training Period (First 30 Days):** Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
+ **Ongoing Schedule:** Part-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Repairs structures and equipment.
+ Cuts grass, using walking-type or riding mowers (less than 2000 lbs.).
+ Trims hedges and edges around walks, flower beds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools.
