Job Description
Position Title:
- Grill Cook Department: Kitchen Operations Reports To: Kitchen Manager / General Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly) Position Summary The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking steaks, burgers, seafood, poultry, and other menu items to established recipes and quality standards in a fast-paced family steakhouse environment.
- This position plays a critical role in ensuring guests receive safe, high-quality meals prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner while maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, cooking specifications, and presentation standards.
- Grill steaks, chops, burgers, chicken, seafood, and other proteins to guest-requested temperatures and company standards.
- Ensure food quality, portion control, appearance, and taste meet restaurant expectations.
