Grain Inspector (Union)

Location: Burnaby, BC office.

Responsibilities

• Attend vessel loading to provide incremental grading as per CGC standards of grain, canola and pulse crops.
• Perform moisture, protein, falling number and DON testing as per acceptable industry methods.
• Divide samples, make up composite samples for retention and complete required paperwork.
• Communicate and work in collaboration with terminal shipping department.
• Properly utilize and maintain all PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience in grain grading as per CGC standards.
• Communication, literacy and numeracy skills in English.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work shift work.
