Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Salford

Prospero Teaching is recruiting several full-time, full-year Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across the curriculum at a mainstream secondary school in Salford.

Start Date: September 2026 – End Date: July 2027

Minimum Rate of Pay: £100/day (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support or small group interventions for students with SEN
• Assisting in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs
• Supporting students with literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
• Helping manage behaviour and engagement in a positive, proactive way
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils to boost confidence and independence
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
