Position Summary
The Grade Checker / Laborer supports construction and earthwork operations by checking grades, setting stakes, and assisting crews with general labor tasks. This position helps ensure grading and excavation work meets project specifications while maintaining a safe and productive job site.


OT/Traveling/Long Hours/Weekends are required.



Responsibilities
+ Check grades and elevations using survey tools, GPS, and laser equipment.

+ Set and read grade stakes for excavation and grading operations.

+ Communicate grade information to equipment operators and crew members.

+ Verify measurements and ensure work meets project requirements.

+ Assist with general labor duties, including site cleanup and material handling.

+ Load, unload, and move tools and materials as needed.

+ Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
