Grade 3 Teacher

The Fishing Lake First Nation is seeking an enthusiastic Grade 3 Teacher for the 2026-7 school year. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of the new Chief Sabitawasis School.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and deliver a Grade 3 program in all subject areas.
• Demonstrated successful experience as a classroom teacher.
• Demonstrated ability to assess student performance and progress to ensure mastery of skills on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated willingness to be part of a collaborative educational team.
• Ability to work effectively within an environment that includes developing meaningful relationships with students, parents, professionals, and community service agencies.
• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities, etc.) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities.
